Video Montage

Here is our video montage of all the techniques we'd love to include in our music video. We have only experimented with a few so far, but as we are getting further into our storyboard, we will be able to carry out more and will upload them onto our blogs.

Production journal 16th sep

This week has just consisted of putting together our montage, we've put together a series of clips from around London and nights out. We have also attempted some effects we hope to use in our actual video, such as quick flashes of black-screen, the reverse/rewind technique and a sequence of clips embedded in sections within the montage. We will upload this video next week onto our blogs.

Green Screen Practise

In Friday's lesson, we had a bit of fun with the green screen - using an underwater clip from YouTube. We then put Lana in front of the green screen and made her lip sync to Taylor Swift. Using this effect proved to be very successful, although Lana's hair seemed to have affected the quality of some parts (as it contains bleach). We will definitely be using this technique on our real music video, which we were considering to create t-shirts or clothing out of, where we can insert sections of filming or even still images.
